16.02.07: Forestry Tasmania sought to place an injunction on the Huon Valley Environment Centre in the Supreme Court. Their attempt to stop the H.V.E.C. conducting the Weld Valley walk-in this Sunday failed and they have to pay costs to our lawyers (between $7000 and $10,000). The Huon Valley Environment Centre is an not for profit Volunteer based organisation that aims to provide the general public with access to information and educational materials on environmental issues and concerns.
